Form Power Showdown 2026 · Raw Powerlifting · IPF Rules
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all lifters with a valid membership in good standing with KPC
Lifters must compete in their correct bodyweight category ( you can change up to one month prior to competition)
Age categories: Sub-Junior (under 23), Junior (under 23), Open, Master (40+)
EQUIPMENT — WHAT YOU CAN WEAR
Allowed:
IPF-approved singlet
IPF-approved belt
IPF-approved knee sleeves
IPF-approved wrist wraps
Socks (mandatory for deadlift — must cover shins)
T-shirt under singlet (short sleeve only, no collar)
Lifting shoes or flat-soled shoes
Not allowed:
Squat suits, bench shirts, or deadlift suits (raw division)
Knee wraps
Elbow sleeves
Any non-IPF-approved equipment
ATTEMPTS
Each lifter gets 3 attempts per lift
Opening attempts must be submitted before weigh-in
You have 1 minute to begin your lift once your name is called
You may change your next attempt once, submitted within 1 minute of your previous attempt
WEIGH-IN
Weigh-in takes place 2 hours before your session
Lifters have 1 hour to make weight
Equipment check takes place during weigh-in
Bring your singlet, belt, sleeves, and ID or passport for inspection
REFEREES & JUDGING
3 referees judge each lift — majority rules (2 out of 3)
White light = good lift
Red light = no lift
2 white lights minimum required to pass
GENERAL RULES
No coach on the platform during the lift
Only coaches with badges from the event can handle athletes and be backstage
Lifters must be ready when called — no exceptions
Unsportsmanlike conduct or unsafe behavior results in immediate disqualification
